Scentmate™ was created with an obsession to serve entrepreneurs and manufacturers with prime quality perfume and a seamless experience.
With customer-centricity at its core, the platform has been developed in 1 year, following thorough clients interviews to understand their needs and gaps to succeed in their fragrance and cosmetics business.
43% of those interviewed indicated a proven agility as one of the main needs. The co-designing process also revealed other important criteria – such as price competitiveness (36%) and fragrance quality (35%). ScentmateTM relies on Firmenich's 125 years of experience in perfumery to offer the best quality of fragrances for each market and at the most competitive prices. It also uses key data like consumer preference - coming from Firmenich proprietary Consumer Insights studies.
A new business model in full expansion
To support this fast-growing project, ScentmateTM has just opened its new offices in Barcelona, Europe’s digital hub. The new space includes a fully equipped laboratory with the latest cutting-edge facilities and technology that allows the brand to offer high-quality products and services.
Since its launch 3 months ago, Scentmate™ has reached more than 100 clients, ranging from Indie popular brands to manufacturers with excellent feedbacks and first launches on the market. The platform is already available for new categories such as body care, cosmetics, household cleaning—and it continues growing. It will soon incorporate fine fragrances.

DTD Cosmetics Agency is a Dutch company that helps brands to develop exclusive cosmetics products and has been collaborating with Firmenich for 10 years. The company worked with the team to create a fragrance for an air freshener and to design several winter product launches.
